Senior Knowledge Analyst (m/f)

We are seeking a strong candidate to fill a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) position within the Energy Knowledge Team of our client. This professional will work globally interacting with both local/regional and international teams and use an extensive collection of internal and external resources and tools/methodologies to gather, filter, analyze, synthesize, package and deliver information and sector expertise to case teams. The individual will support efforts in developing advanced use cases and demonstrate strong analytic capabilities and power generation sector specialization to consulting staff and clients.

Ihre Aufgaben

Work with consulting teams

  • Scopes knowledge needs of consulting teams & liaises with colleagues to address them
  • Insert oneself into business, establishing credibility with consulting teams and occasionally client teams as an expert in the domain; take positions/draw conclusions on a range of external and internal issues
  • Apply expert knowledge to satisfy complex client demands (both internally to consulting teams as well as externally to clients directly)
  • Assist others in navigating the knowledge network by connecting them with articles, materials, perspectives, and people
  • Acts as a thought partner, establishes credibility with consulting teams, and provides problem solving and topic insights
  • Creates and delivers original and rigor analysis, models and insights and packages in quality materials
  • Liaises with multiple stakeholders to deliver work products

Work with topic/sector teams

  • Contribute to internal research projects to build up new intellectual capital
  • Develop fresh perspectives and own point of view on the major hot topics in the broader power generation, power markets and regulation domains
  • Take initiative to capture learnings from consulting teams active on projects in the domain and structure them into new insights and perspectives
  • Develops content for go-to-market materials
  • Promotes innovation at our client by identifying opportunities to develop new knowledge offerings, experiment with new forms to disseminate knowledge (microsites, social media, newsletters), etc
  • Coordinates developing new selling materials, including credentials, tracking of project experience, recent publications
  • Contributes to building topics sector/teams and suggesting emerging topics/sectors based on 

Ihr Profil

  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience in a research, analytical or operations role or 2+ years in a consulting role. The candidate must have familiarity with key industry frameworks.
  • The candidates must have good understanding of power markets modelling and EU market
  • Advanced degree with demonstrated high academic achievement in engineering or economics/ finance with extensive experience in power modelling
  • Knowledge of all MS Office products
  • Able to demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Able to create and structure power point presentations
  • Strong work ethic, service-mentality and willingness to showcase expertise
  • Ability to multi-task & operate effectively in a matrix organization
  • Effective written & verbal communication in English and German
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple parallel tasks
  • Collaborative, team player – including in an international, virtual communications environment
  • Thought partner & strong problem solving
